OKLAHOMA CITY - The Classen SAS @ Northeast athletic department announced the hiring of Leslie Hudson as the new head coach for their softball program on Tuesday.

Coach Hudson is no stranger to OKCPS as she arrives at Classen SAS after spending the last five years in the district at Roosevelt Middle School as the Site Athletic Coordinator for four years, while coaching softball and basketball as well. She also has a stop at Northwest Classen High School where she was the head softball coach for one season. She currently teaches Physical Education at Roosevelt.

Hudson was an All-State Softball and Basketball player during her playing days at Putnam City West High School. She went on to play both sports in college as she played basketball at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, before transferring to Oklahoma City University where she was an All-American third baseman on the softball team. She helped lead the Stars to two national championship victories and one national championship title as a graduate assistant coach following her graduation.
