OKLAHOMA CITY - The Classen SAS @ Northeast athletic department announced the hirings of Kori Williams as the new volleyball head coach and Brianna Patterson as the new POM head coach on Wednesday afternoon.

Beginning with Coach Williams leading the Lady Comets' volleyball program, she arrives at Classen with ten years of coaching experience under her belt. She was a standout student-athlete at Langston University, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Lady Comets volleyball program. Williams has spent five years in the club volleyball circuit, currently serving as a Club Director, and previously spent two seasons leading a varsity program as Head Coach.

"I'm so thrilled to join the Classen SAS community and lead the next generation of Comet student-athletes to success on and off the court!" said Williams.

Coach Patterson is originally from Dallas, Texas and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2022. Currently an NBA dancer for the Oklahoma City Thunder, she previously worked as a technique coach for the Del City High School POM program, and served as president of the OU Elite Dance Team from 2019-2022. Patterson brings a unique passion to the Comets' POM squad, with plans to lead with dedication, vision, and heart.

"I'm very excited to begin working with the Classen SAS POM team!" said Patterson. "The school has a rich tradition in POM, and I can't wait to push the team to work hard and showcase their skills."
