CLINTON, Okla. — In an electrifying Girls Varsity Soccer match, the Classen SAS Lady Comets faced off against the formidable Clinton Red Tornadoes at Clinton High School. The final score of 10-0 underscored the Red Tornadoes' dominance, with the Lady Comets grappling with a substantial first-half deficit.

The Lady Comets struggled defensively in the first half, conceding eight goals to the relentless Red Tornadoes, who showcased their attacking prowess. Despite a commendable second-half effort, the Lady Comets were unable to bridge the gap created in the early stages of the game.

Individual performances stood out for the Lady Comets, with Junior Aura Martinez, Sophomore Yoselin Santos, and Freshmen Avery Fisher, Payton Germann and Roselyn De Leon-Vela displaying notable skill and determination on the field.

Looking ahead, the Classen SAS Lady Comets focus on their next challenge against Guthrie High School on Tuesday, March 5, at 6:00 pm. The upcoming fixture serves as an opportunity for the team to regroup, refine strategies, and demonstrate resilience.
